| To shortlist applicants for the following phase, The first stage of CBT is a screening test. Stage 1: Written Test (Primary Exam): This objective-style test evaluates the candidate’s proficiency in general intelligence, general science, general awareness, and mathematics. This stage is exclusively for qualifying. The final merit list will not include its grades.Stage 1: Written Examination (Main Exam): One question paper with one hundred multiple-choice, objective-type questions. 120 minutes (two hours) in total. One mark is awarded for each question. Negative marking: 25% (i.e., ¼ of the required mark for each incorrect response). Exam Schedule: Part 1: Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (20 marks) + Child Development & Learning (20 marks) + Introduction to Disability (25 marks) Part 2: Understanding Computer and IT Concepts and Current Technological Development (15 Marks) Section 3: Overview of the State of Uttar Pradesh (20 Marks) 100 questions total, 100 marks The PET-2025 normalized score (15 times the number of advertised positions) will be used to shortlist candidates for the written exam. Stage 2: Qualifying Test (Skill Exam): Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their written exam scores will take the qualifying Sign Language and Braille Script Proficiency Test. Selection will be based only on written exams for positions where knowledge of Sign Language or Braille Script is not a prerequisite. The first component of the Sign Language Proficiency Test is Text to Sign Language Conversion, which takes eight minutes and requires at least ten functional words to be accurately converted.
